A NOTE FROM OUR FOUNDER

I grew up watching women with deep, rich skin be told our skin was an afterthought too dark to be swatched, too specific to be formulated for. Éternelle started there: with the belief that we deserve products made for us, not adapted to us afterwards.

It took years to get here. Lab after lab told me cacao from São Tomé couldn't be done too small, too complicated, not worth it. But São Tomé is where I'm from, and its cocoa is one of the richest in the world. Giving up on it was never an option.

Every Éternelle product is built around it: deeply nourishing, made to glow on deep skin, and formulated slowly and with intention. I hope these become the ones you reach for every day - the ones that make you feel seen.

WHY SÃO TOMÉ COCOA?

In the early 1900s, this tiny island was the largest cacao exporter in the world. Most people have never heard of it.

There's a reason the cocoa grows so well here. Volcanic soil, warm rain year-round, and cacao trees that grow in the shade of coffee, vanilla and breadfruit, the way it's always been done. No chemicals needed. It's organic by nature, not by certification.

That's the cocoa in every Éternelle product. Rich, deeply nourishing, and grown on an island that the world forgot.
